Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What materials are scrubs made from?
A: Materials used in scrubs have changed over the last two decades. The four most common material used is polyester, rayon, spandex, and cotton. The
line is the first to introduce nylon as a composite material.
Q: Do scrubs shrink or fade?
A: Any uniform with cotton in the composition is likely to shrink and fade over time and multiple washes. Scrubs with polyester, rayon, and spandex do not shrink or fade up to 30 commercial washes.
Q: Do all scrubs come in the same sizes?
A: A "standard" size run for scrub tops is XXS thru 5X. In pants it is the same, but also with petite, regular, and tall sizes. However, not all scrub lines are available in all sizes, and some petites and talls do go past 3X
Q: Do all scrubs come in the same array of colors?
A: Some scrub lines, especially new lines, are sometimes are released with limited colors. It is important for
who want to color-code staff that some lines have a limited color selection.
Q: What is a "line" of scrubs?
A: Many brands have several sub-brands. Barco Uniforms
, for example, carry the Grey's Anatomy Active
, and Signature
Q: Why does it take up to ten business days to ship?
A: K-Scrubs and Scrub House is a local, family owned store. We do not carry the large inventory found on other sites, so if we don't have it in our stores, we order it from the manufacturer. It may take longer, but you can still shop local even when shopping online.
Q: Do you embroider?
Yes, we have in-house embroidery at both stores. We haven't integrated any automated method to request embroidery, but send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com with what you want. We also do heat press designs, which you can see at our sister site, Made4healers.com
Q: How are tops and pants measured for length?
A: Both tops and pants measurements are from the size "Medium" of that style.
Q: If something is backordered can I still order it?
A: No, sorry. Our online store does not allow ordering for any product not in stock. If the backordered date is visible, check back at that time to see if it is available.
